Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to role model and prioritize safety at Transportation locations
- Schedules all assets across all terminals for a variety of commodities ranging from bulk to temp sensitive products.
- Create, modify, and reconcile all freight orders in transportation management system
- Partners with non-Company contractors and resources to cover loads when additional product is needed to meet business needs.
- Responsible to document and escalate Truck Driver and/or non-Company contractor performance issues to the supervisors
- Responsible to audit daily volumes, confirm daily objectives are met, & record variances or changes to shift schedules
Typical Education
- Associate's Degree (A.A. or equivalent)
Relevant Experience
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
- Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of regulatory agency policies and procedures, including FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify complex issues, analyze situations, and implement effective problem-solving solutions.
Other Information
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday night shift (5:00 PM–1:00 AM) with flexibility to work a 12-hour shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) as needed to provide PTO coverage.
- Night Shift Differential: Employees working night shift receive an additional $1.00 per hour on top of their regular rate of pay.
