Transportation - Regional Safety Manager
What You'll Own
- Lead engaging onboarding and ongoing safety training
- Investigate accidents and injuries while identifying root causes
- Conduct DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, Hazmat, and Hours-of-Service compliance audits
- Oversee Driver Qualification (DQ) file compliance
- Coach Driver Managers, Regional Managers, technicians, and drivers
- Perform facility inspections and identify operational risks
- Monitor safety scorecards, trends, and performance metrics
- Conduct ride-alongs and field coaching with drivers
- Partner with leadership to improve safety performance across every operation
Who We're Looking For
- Extensive knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and PHMSA regulations
- Experience leading safety investigations and compliance initiatives
- Confidence delivering training and coaching leaders
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to influence others through leadership—not authority
- A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
