Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Transportation Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position that will allow you to split your time between remote work and on-site activities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will manage and deliver various transportation projects, including but not limited to road and highway design, traffic engineering, transit projects, and pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the design and implementation of various transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation software for designing and drafting transportation projects.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports on project specifications, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing them with guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with on-site activities.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in transportation engineering.

Pay

$110,000 - $130,000 per year
