About the role
Our City Solutions/Transportation Planning team anticipates a Practice Manager (Office Manager) opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, within the next 3–6 months. We’re connecting now with experienced leaders who are ready to make an impact, build and lead a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our Los Angeles practice.
The Practice Manager, West will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, oversee project delivery, and lead a high-performing team. This leader will play a key role in implementing the regional growth strategy, expanding market share, ensuring technical excellence, and representing TYLin through industry engagement and thought leadership.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional registration preferred.
- Approximately 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in consulting or the public sector, including leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.
- Strong operational and financial management skills.
- Established relationships within the Southern California transportation market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Pay
Base compensation range of $216,000 – $240,000 annually for this position, with adjustments based on local market and candidate qualifications.
