About the Role
TYLin’s City Solutions/Transportation Planning team anticipates a Practice Manager (Office Manager) opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, within the next 3–6 months. We’re connecting now with experienced leaders who are ready to make an impact, build and lead a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our Los Angeles practice.
While this position is not immediately available, we want to start conversations with great talent early as upcoming projects and hiring needs take shape.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and strengthen client relationships
- Oversee project delivery and ensure technical excellence
- Lead a high-performing team and implement the regional growth strategy
- Expand market share in the Southern California transportation sector
- Represent TYLin through industry engagement and thought leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (professional registration preferred)
- Approximately 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in consulting or the public sector, including leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth
- Strong operational and financial management skills
- Established relationships within the Southern California transportation market
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Pay
Base compensation range of $216,000 – $240,000 annually for this position, adjusted for local market.
