Transportation Planner
Location: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid)

About the role
Manage transportation operations across Unilever’s factory network, ensuring optimal service and execution for customer shipments. Partner with customers, warehouses, carriers, and logistics providers to support on-time delivery and operational excellence. Monitor and balance key transportation KPIs to drive efficiency, improve service, and reduce costs. Analyze transportation performance, identify trends and losses, and recommend solutions to improve network performance. Leverage Excel, Power BI, and supply chain systems to create reporting, support decision-making, and communicate business insights. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop distribution solutions that align customer needs with supply chain objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of logistics and supply chain experience (or 6 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerPoint, and integrated business systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and delivering results on time.
