About the role
Performs transportation planning and project work, coordinates pedestrian and bicycle transportation programs, and provides general transportation planning oversight. Develops, implements, and facilitates projects and programs that promote integration of transportation and land use planning to expand multimodal options in the City that meet the needs of all people.
Responsibilities
- Serves as liaison with other governmental officials and agencies to coordinate transportation planning efforts and determine, develop, and maintain funding sources.
- Participates in a variety of committees to ensure city goals are addressed; represents the City on boards and committees.
- Reviews projects and plans for consistency with City's Comprehensive Plan and Community Development Code.
- Presents to community and business groups and engages the community as part of transportation plans and projects.
- Assists with Long Range Planning community outreach events and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in transportation planning (Mid II level).
- Specialty in Transportation Planning.
Pay
$91,780 - $96,369
