Transportation Personnel (CNA) / Van Driver

About the role

Provides transportation of residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation of residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.
• Provides transportation of current or new residents from hospital after discharge.
• Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintains a high level of safety following safety policies and procedures while in Center and transporting residents.
• Maintains van in good working condition.
• Maintains van in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Assists in general with Center activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with coursework in recreation is desirable; completion of a state approved activity‑training course is preferred but not required.
• CPR Certified.
• Current State driver’s license without violations.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide desired.
• At least one (1) year of verifiable experience transporting residents in a healthcare setting.
