Retirement

Benefit-eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). The District contributes to the URS plan on your behalf each month. After a four-year vesting period, you will have the option of:

• Hybrid plan (pension combined with a 401k), or
• 401k plan (employer-paid)

You may also enhance your retirement by contributing additional funds from your paycheck into a 401k, 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
