Responsibilities

• Lead Supervisors, Drivers, Common Carriers, and overall Transportation Operations ensuring that finished goods are delivered to the company’s Distribution Centers.
• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members by developing and leading improvement activities and engagement.
• Monitor employee productivity and timekeeping.
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards and regulatory requirements while managing drivers’ delivery schedules and hours worked.
• Develop and manage the transportation budget by reviewing and approving transportation invoices.
• Work directly with manufacturing plants and distribution centers to manage carrier relationships and conduct carrier meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related experience and 2+ years of management experience or High School Diploma with 8+ years of specific experience and 4+ years of management experience.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree.

Pay

Target annual salary range: $95,000–$105,000 based on experience. Opportunity for a 15% annual bonus.
