About the role
LJB offers challenging and rewarding assignments for co-op students and summer interns. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real-world projects in a professional environment. This position is based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.
- Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus
- Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well-established standards, procedures, and drawings
- Be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures
Requirements
- Civil engineering major at an accredited university is preferred; Civil Engineering Technology or other Engineering Majors desiring a civil engineering career path will be considered
- Students entering their Junior or Senior years are preferred
- Some travel may be required
- U.S. citizenship required
Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel to various project sites
- Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
Pay
$18+ an hour
