Transportation Engineer - Full-Time

About the Role

A Transportation Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience supporting civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate data for engineering reports and existing conditions.
• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, and superelevation.
• Design roadside barriers, ADA curb ramps, and execute roadway modeling.
• Prepare MOT/traffic plans, cost estimates, specifications, and highway plans for bidding.
• Maintain compliance with transportation design standards and foster positive team/client relationships.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of experience; Ohio PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS, SignCAD, AutoTurn, and MS Office.
• Experience with roadway design, cost estimating, and ODOT projects; familiarity with City of Columbus preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
