Transportation Engineer

About the role

The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze transportation models to optimize routes and reduce congestion.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Conduct research on emerging transportation technologies and their potential impact on the industry.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in transportation engineering.
• Knowledge of traffic flow analysis and GIS software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
