About the role
The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze transportation models to optimize routes and reduce congestion.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Conduct research on emerging transportation technologies and their potential impact on the industry.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in transportation engineering.
- Knowledge of traffic flow analysis and GIS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles.
- Experience with traffic simulation software.
- Knowledge of public transportation systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
