Key Responsibilities
- Design and support transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, intersections, highways, and multimodal facilities
- Aid in or lead traffic analysis, roadway design, and corridor studies
- Create plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling software
- Coordinate with internal teams across civil, planning, and environmental disciplines
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Interact with clients, municipalities, and DOT agencies
- Handle permitting and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to proposals and business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT or PE license (or ability to obtain)
- 2–10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Experience with roadway design, traffic engineering, or transportation planning
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, HCS, or similar
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in growing into project management or technical leadership roles
