B&N Transportation Engineer

Burgess & Niple is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join their team in the Mentor, Akron, or Erie office. The ideal candidate should have:

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and preparing technical designs on transportation projects
• Mentoring/coaching junior staff on transportation design
• Developing unique and complex solutions to highway problems for projects and pursuits
• Making presentations to clients with CSMs to develop scopes and fees
• Managing tasks and technical designs on projects
• Collaborating with other offices on future pursuits and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
• 10+ years of related civil transportation experience
• Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented
• Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD plan development
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills
