Transportation Driver

About the role

Damar Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our community by safely transporting residents to and from their requested destinations. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving their well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and travel throughout Marion County to ensure timely and efficient transportation
• Ensure the safe and reliable pickup and delivery of residents to their designated locations
• Completes pre and post trip report for each trip
• Completes thorough pre- and post-trip reports for every journey, documenting relevant details accurately
• Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
• Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
• Maintain documentation that is accurate and legible

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• 6 months of previous transportation experience
• Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
