About the Role
Provide safe, secure, and professional transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
- Ensure the safety of residents at all times, including monitoring safety on the bus, during boarding and departing, and at building entrances and exits.
- Maintain the vehicle through inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and completion of all required paperwork.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
- Must be between the ages of twenty-five (25) and seventy-four (74) per facility insurance requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.
