About the Role
Provide safe, secure, and professional transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level customer service and assistance while transporting residents to activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
- Ensure resident safety at all times, including monitoring during boarding, departing, and building entry/exit.
- Maintain general upkeep of the vehicle, including inspections, scheduled maintenance, and required paperwork.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
- Must be between the ages of 25 and 74 per facility insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a bus or van driver.
