Position Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to tenants entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Ensures all safety protocols are followed and conducts routine vehicle maintenance.
- Notifies supervisor of any vehicle functionality changes.
- Schedules and coordinates with mechanics for necessary vehicle repairs.
- Maintains bus cleanliness by keeping windows clean, floors swept, etc., on an ongoing basis.
- Arrives early to fuel the van and clean the interior to avoid delays.
- Arrives punctually to organize the day's trip with necessary information.
- Fulfills monthly transportation schedule strictly and does not accommodate unscheduled drop-offs or pick-ups.
- Keeps daily records of trip participants and assists with reservation confirmations and cancellations.
- Reports any concerns about residents' behavior, health, or difficulties encountered during trips to the supervisor.
- Shares ideas for enjoyable bus trips for future schedules.
- Handles accidents appropriately and follows proper reporting procedures.
- Adapts to individual tenant needs related to mobility.
