Responsibilities
- Market Dewberry’s capabilities to clients surrounding the Richmond area.
- Serve as the Project Manager/Design Manager for the Transportation Design Department.
- Supervise and provide direction and guidance to transportation design staff in Richmond.
- Conduct business development activities, proposal writing, and oversight.
- Recruit, develop, mentor and train individual practitioners and teams.
- Collaborate with other department managers.
- Collaborate and coordinate with offices across the mid-Atlantic region.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering with 10+ years of highway engineering and project management experience.
- Project management success for mid- and large-scale projects for VDOT preferred.
- Experience with localities surrounding the Richmond, Virginia area desired.
- Professional Engineer in Virginia required.
- Experience writing successful proposals and leading client presentations required.
- Strong interpersonal and effective leadership skills.
- Local travel and a clean driving record required.

Pay
The projected range for this position is $160,000 - $203,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
