Transportation Coordinator | Driver
About the role
The Transportation Coordinator or driver provides facility staff with driving services such as driving staff and persons served to doctors’ appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Provides driving services for facility staff and persons served to doctors’ appointments and recreational activities.
- Runs errands for facility staff and persons served.
- Picks up and transports admission/discharge persons served.
- Works with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Good driving ability and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work well with other staff and adult persons served.
- Self-directed but also able to take directions and carry out tasks.
- Ability to create and carry out a schedule for vehicle use.
- One year of experience as a driver for a long-term care facility, hospital, or community-based program is preferred.
- A valid California driver’s license.

Crestwood Champion Healing Center is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) located in Lompoc, a beautiful Central Coast city in Santa Barbara County, known as “The City of Arts and Flowers.” Champion Healing Center has innovative trauma-informed recovery programs that are based on Crestwood’s commitment to providing a continuum of care that puts persons served with significant mental health issues on the road to recovery.
Pay
Crestwood offers a salary range of $23 USD - $25.89 USD per hour for this position. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
