Transportation Coordinator

Join our team at Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living as a Transportation Coordinator! You will manage vehicle usage, maintenance records, inspections, repairs, safety equipment, and all trip documentation for the community motor pool.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and tracks vehicles for usage, ensuring availability when needed
• Assists with transporting residents and staff, including those in wheelchairs
• Helps maintain the daily transportation schedule
• Enters transportation trips into the work order billing system
• Prepares driver schedules and monitors requests for changes
• Handles on-call duty as assigned by the Supervisor
• Provides training on wheelchair securement and safe driving practices
• Assists with minor vehicle repairs as appropriate
• Performs additional duties as requested to ensure efficient department operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation services required
• Strong computer skills
• Office experience is preferred
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to drive
• Valid state driver’s license (must be maintained as a condition of employment)
• Must possess or be able to obtain a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate (must be maintained as a condition of employment)

Pay

Compensation range starts at $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
