About the role
Responsible for day-to-day coordination of logistics and interaction with outbound logistics/transportation partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply chain and logistics activities, including inventory control, transportation scheduling, distribution, and material movement.
- Plan and dispatch transportation services to support the inbound and outbound flow of goods across multiple facilities.
- Monitor shipment execution and resolve transportation, customs, and delivery issues to ensure service and cost objectives are achieved.
- Support import and export operations, ensuring the economical and efficient movement of goods across international borders.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate compliant cross-border shipments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international trade regulations, customs requirements, import/export controls, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate import/export documentation, product classifications, country of origin records, and customs records.
- Collect, analyze, and report key performance metrics related to transportation, inventory, service levels, compliance, and supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, planning, quality, and customer service teams to address supply chain challenges and support business objectives.
- Promote customer-focused solutions by effectively communicating customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, compliance issues, and transportation exceptions.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or associate's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, International Trade, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, import/export, distribution, or trade compliance.
- Working knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export documentation.
- Experience coordinating transportation providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global trade compliance programs, import/export regulations, and customs valuation/classification processes.
- Knowledge of duty optimization programs, free trade agreements, and customs compliance requirements.
- APICS/ASCM, IATA, customs compliance, or international trade certifications preferred.
- Knowledge/Experience in Dangerous Goods/Hazmat shipping
- Experience in medical device, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industries.
Pay
$21.00 - $33.60 USD Hourly
