Transportation Civil Engineering Intern
About the role
Start Building Your Career Before You Graduate Ever wonder what goes into designing the roads, intersections, bridges, and the transportation systems people rely on every day? As a Transportation Engineering Intern at HR Green, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and designers on projects that help people move safely and efficiently through their communities. Depending on your team, location, and projects, you may gain exposure to roadways, highways, intersections, sidewalks, trails, bridges, and the design elements behind transportation infrastructure. This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend the summer watching from the sidelines. You’ll be part of the team, learning by doing. Why HR Green? For more than 113 years, HR Green has partnered with communities to design and build the infrastructure most people take for granted. From the roads you travel and the water you use to the communities where people live and work, our mission is simple: Building Communities. Improving Lives. Our people are at the heart of that mission. We’re proud to be recognized as a Great Place to Work and consistently ranked among Engineering News Record’s Top 500 Design Firms in the United States. As an intern, you’ll contribute to real projects, learn from experienced engineers, and have people invested in helping you grow. You’ll also have opportunities to explore different areas of civil engineering, build relationships across HR Green, and start discovering where you want your career to take you.
