About the role
Responsible for patient transportation from the unit to the procedure department.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and efficiently between units and departments.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
Requirements
- BLS from American Heart Association
- LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH only)
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (VIP) within 3 months of employment (for Patient Transport department only)
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer Skills Required
- Experience Required: BLS from American Heart Association, LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH only), Non-violent Crisis Intervention (VIP) within 3 months of employment (for Patient Transport department only)
