Essential Duties & Responsibilities Dispatches vehicles and assigns drivers and monitors to routesMonitors and enforces compliance to transportation processes, policies and proceduresExecutes the Transportation budget in conjunction with the supervisorMaintain compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation, State, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and school district regulationsManage driver qualification and background check document collectionFacilitates the drug and alcohol screening program for safety sensitive positionsInputs and oversees all time and labor entries for department for supervisor approval Direct Reports None Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Work experience as a Transportation Assistant or similar office roleGood knowledge of payroll proceduresAdvanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)Organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Safety Sensitive Status This job is considered Safety-Sensitive and incumbents are subject to random substance, drug and alcohol testing.
