Transportation and Fleet Manager

About the role

Givens Aldersgate is seeking a Transportation Manager to support their transportation team. The role involves overseeing the overall operations of the transportation department and managing the organizational fleet.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and collaborate with external partners in the comprehensive fleet management
• Direct and guide members of the transportation team
• Contribute to recruitment, training, counseling, and termination of employees in line with company policies and guidelines
• Monitor the transportation staff to ensure they hold valid licenses and certifications
• Manage the transportation budget and implement cost-cutting strategies while maintaining service quality
• Utilize technology to keep track of the organization's transportation schedule, mileage, fuel costs, and vehicle performance
• Schedule and accommodate suitable social outings and trips for residents

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent
• 2+ Years of Leadership Experience
• 2+ Years of Transportation Experience

Compensation

$52k - $53k, based on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position is also eligible for a sales incentive.
