Transportation Aide

Overview JOB SUMMARY The Transportation Aide functions as an assistant to the licensed nurse. The role encompasses providing transport of patients, pre- and post-surgery, as well as patient care under the direction of the licensed nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Experience: None Knowledge and Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned. License and Certifications: A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required. Equipment: Computer Physical Requirements: Able to complete the essential physical duties as noted on the job desciption. PAY RANGE $23.00 - $31.82 The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
