Transport & Warehouse Manager
About the role
Biocair is seeking a Transport & Warehouse Manager to lead our local transport, warehouse, import and export operations while ensuring the highest standards of customer service, compliance, and operational performance. This role requires a proven track record in logistics and cold chain operations, with experience in driving business performance through data and KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Providing strategic oversight of Transport, Warehouse, Import and Export operations at site level.
- Serving as the escalation point for shipment deviations and complex operational challenges.
- Maintaining and improving local SOPs in partnership with the Quality team.
- Leading and coaching Team Managers to deliver exceptional performance and employee engagement.
- Managing performance, objective setting, salary reviews, and workforce planning activities.
- Driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Leading fleet optimisation initiatives to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
- Supporting compliance with health and safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Using operational data to inform decision-making and support strategic goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading medium-sized operational teams across multiple departments.
- Strong expertise in logistics and cold chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing operational performance through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of active and passive temperature-controlled packaging solutions.
- IATA DGR, ADR, or equivalent regulatory certification.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and resource planning.

Pay
Competitive salary: Between $102,600 - $115,500 per annum
