Transport Driver - Lake Charles, LA

Lott Oil Company is a growing family business offering great equipment, stability, and a focus on work/life balance. We are currently seeking a driver in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area, preferably with fuel hauling experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver hazardous materials, such as fuel and oil products, to convenience stores, industrial customers, and other designated locations
• Meet scheduled deliveries
• Submit all paperwork accurately and on time
• Assist in maintaining truck and trailer equipment through daily pre/post trip inspections
• Cooperate with all truck and trailer maintenance scheduling
• Keep assigned truck and trailer clean and presentable to the public
• Follow all company safety and operating procedures and policies
• Perform responsibilities and tasks as defined by management
• Adhere to local and federal regulations when operating a commercial vehicle

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• 25 years of age or older
• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Current DOT physical
• Must pass DOT drug screen
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of driving experience
• 1 year of fuel hauling experience
• TWIC Card
• Terminal Certifications
