About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering liquid fuels directly to customers while maintaining all DOT safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safe and accurate delivery of full transport loads of liquid fuels to direct customers and owned bulk plant facilities
- Perform all loading and unloading of fuel at point of origin and customer locations
- Operate truck and trailer in accordance with Department of Transportation safety regulations, loading facility rules, and all other applicable laws
- Maintain, clean, and perform regular inspections of company equipment
- Perform general labor duties as needed
Requirements
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements
- 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Prior experience with fuel delivery preferred; clean driving record
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with all DOT, FMSCA rules and regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to use electronic communication tools to receive, send, and record daily data
- Willing to work flexible hours, as hours will vary depending on customer needs
- General math skills required
