Transport Associate - AGH - Full Time

Essential Responsibilities

• Transports inpatients and outpatients within the facility from initial start location to the destination location.
• Delivers equipment/materials and specimens to requesting department, including use of the pneumatic tube system.
• Serves as a Hospital ambassador and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Ensures that transportation equipment is kept clean and in good working order.

Qualifications

• Minimum proficiency in dealing with customer service.
• High degree of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain working relationships with internal and external departments and customers at all levels.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• CPR Certification (incumbents in role as of 05/01/25, must obtain by 09/01/25).
