Transplant Program Specialist I

Reports to the Transplant Program Manager of the Transplant Center. Under general supervision, helps establish, coordinate, and perform all administrative duties required to support the transplant team.

About the role

Operates as the liaison between patients and the Transplant Center’s clinical staff, communicating relevant information by telephone and written correspondence. Maintains transplant-related records, ensures accurate data entry in the EMR, and stays current with regulatory changes from UNOS and CMS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with four years of relatable work experience
• Previous experience in a secretarial/clerical position preferred
• Basic keyboarding skills; medical terminology preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals

Pay

Hourly pay grade Health-22.

Schedule

40 scheduled weekly hours.
