About the role
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BE/BC Fellowship trained Gastroenterologist with Hepatology interest/experience to join Baylor Scott & White – Temple, TX.
Position Highlights
- We are looking for a Gastroenterologist, with Hepatology focus to help with our growing population of pre and post liver transplant patients as well as non-transplant liver patients.
- Opportunity to partner with the Department Chair (Michael Volk) and Hepatology Director at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas (Sumeet Asrani) to build a satellite liver transplant program.
- Board certification in Transplant Hepatology is a plus, but not required.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable with teaching and working with fellows and Advanced Practice Professionals.
- Call: 1:12. Cover one hospital only.
- Fellows take first call.
- Schedule: Good mix of clinic and procedures.

Qualifications
- MD or DOLicensed medical physician
- TX licensed by start date
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology and BC/BE IM
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Hepatology or transplant experience a plus
