Location: New York. Candidates must be local and able to work from the office 3 days a week, as well as attend an in-person interview.
About the Role
Transmit Security Engineer with a deep understanding of Access Management, authentication protocols, and secure application development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Transmit Security Journeys, WebSDK, and scripting (AuthScript).
- Implement user authentication and authorization using Transmit Security.
- Develop and deploy custom applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Build REST APIs using Java Spring Framework.
- Trace and handle HTTP requests/responses and sessions.
- Ensure secure HTTP communication between client and server, as well as server-to-server.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications.
- Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Utilize DevOps tools including Git, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Access Management, including Authentication & Single Sign-On.
- Proficiency with authentication protocols like OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML2.0.
- Hands-on experience with Transmit Security, Java/J2EE, and Java Spring Framework.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP request/response tracing and session handling.
- Experience with secure HTTP communication and server-to-server security.
- Familiarity with Java Spring Boot application development and deployment.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Proficiency with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.).
