Transmission Project Engineer

About the role

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Project Engineer to join our team of Power Delivery professionals based in Madison, WI and Saint Louis Park, MN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.

Responsibilities

• Conducting analyses to develop design options.
• Performing PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculations.
• Aiding in preparing cost estimates or specifications.
• Participating in routine engineering and design tasks.
• Carrying out field reviews or construction observations.
• Assisting with quality control reviews of projects from other teams as needed.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $84,672.00 - $120,960.00 per year, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
