Transmission Project Engineer
About the role
HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madison, WI and Saint Louis Park, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project execution within the Power Market Sector and possess a Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Conducting analyses to develop design options.
- Performing PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculations.
- Aiding in preparing cost estimates or specifications.
- Participating in routine engineering and design tasks.
- Assisting with field reviews or construction observations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
- Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit).

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. In Minnesota, the salary range is $85,626.00 - $121,800.00.
