About the role

The Transmission Line EIT/Coordinator will join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in our Denver, CO office. The primary duties include executing the technical aspects and deliverables for assigned projects. The EIT/Coordinator will learn and grow into completing the technical requirements of transmission line projects of basic to moderate complexity, with tasks and mentorship provided by senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculations
• Perform routine engineering and design tasks
• Participate in field reviews or construction observation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture

Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate (preferred; candidates without EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator role and expected to obtain EIT for career progression)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm (desired)
• Experience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications, and drawings for power transmission line projects (preferred)
• Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)
• Some field work and travel may be required
• Preference given to local candidates

Pay

Colorado: $76,483.00 - $96,800.00 (depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location)
