About the role

This is a remote contract position requiring native-level Japanese fluency. You will review and correct machine-generated transcriptions and record high-quality audio clips.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct machine-generated Japanese transcriptions for accuracy and naturalness.
• Record high-quality short audio clips based on provided transcriptions using a laptop microphone.
• Ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment while recording to maintain audio clarity.
• Deliver clear, accurate, and expressive verbal recordings adhering to project guidelines.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team of transcriptionists and audio recording experts to maintain consistency and quality.
• Provide detailed feedback on language nuances, pronunciation, and context for ongoing improvement of AI models.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Japanese, with a deep understanding of regional and cultural nuances.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot transcription errors accurately.
• Comfortable recording your own voice using standard laptop microphones.
• Reliable access to a quiet recording environment.

$32 - $35/hour
