About the Role
San Bruno Park is a linguistically and culturally diverse school district in the San Francisco Bay Area. Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district serves four elementary schools and one middle school. The city is a hub for tech and innovation, home to YouTube, Walmart.com, and numerous other businesses. Geographically diverse, the area ranges from urban flatlands to the central greenspace of San Bruno City Park and offers sweeping Bay vistas from its highest hilltops.
Through community support, the district recently secured a facilities bond to rebuild aging infrastructure and maintains a strong financial position due to new and increasing revenue sources. The San Bruno Park Board of Directors recently approved a 9.5% raise over two years for all educators, demonstrating its commitment to attracting and retaining talented staff.
Requirements
- Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
- Recommended: At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both
- Recommended: Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-age children comparable to 24 units of education (determined by local employing agency)
- Recommended: Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the CTC
- Able to work collaboratively with others; strong positive attitude desired

Pay
Annual pay range: $60,000.00 – $108,604.00. Additional stipend offered for Master’s, BCLAD, and Doctorate degrees.
