Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Transition Support Manager and Operations to create, implement, and maintain a successful transition process.
- Ability to successfully perform simultaneous transitions, while maintaining required service quality and Advisor experience.
- Become a point of contact for transitioning Advisors and their staff to lead them through the onboarding process (create CRM contacts, KYC information, SharePoint folder creation, etc.). Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a successful transition.
- Create, maintain and provide custom training to Advisors and staff of Krilogy’s tools, platforms, processes and systems.
- Work with new Advisors and their staff to prepare client paperwork, set up DocuSign and introduce them to the resources available to them at Krilogy.
- Serve as a liaison between custodians and the Advisor and staff for any new set-up requests required for handling their book of business.
- Analyze and comprehend complex functions and be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and understandable format to others.
- Work closely with Advisors to develop a transition plan for their existing clients, ensuring a seamless transfer of assets and relationships.
- Provide professional, accurate, courteous, friendly and timely correspondence to all parties involved in the transition.
- Aid in addressing all internal and/or Advisor requests and assist with them as needed.
- Forecast each Advisor’s unique needs through active listening and conduct due diligence to ensure needs are addressed appropriately and quickly.
- Create best practices and meet with each transitioned team post-transition to build the Krilogy habits.
- Possible occasional travel both in and out of state.
- Perform all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience; preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealer including understanding and experience in onboarding clients within the regulated business space.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written skills.
- Strong commitment to detail with excellent organization, prioritization and project management skills.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.) required, familiarity with Schwab and Fidelity platforms and paperwork along with Redtail CRM & Orion Reporting preferred.
- Capable of prioritizing workflow to meet real-time needs across multiple transitions.
- Must be a flexible and approachable member of the team who can effectively handle varying Advisor and staff personalities, shifting schedules and tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and follow through while anticipating and preparing for future needs.
- Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive and confidential information.
