Transit Operator PartTime

Overview

School Based Health Center Community Health Specialists perform the following functions: present health curriculum in school communities, offer education groups, create linkages with school counselors, other school staff (including those school staff in smaller schools within the school model), track youth who live in high risk areas, identify and track high risk eighth graders during the summer months between middle school and high school, and support SBHC clinics and East County Teen Clinic with referrals.

Required

• Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.
• A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
  • At least two years of experience as a Community Health Specialist.
  • Ability to work across service delivery systems with various levels of health professionals.
  • Health Education experience is highly preferred.

Training

• High school graduation or equivalent.

To Qualify

Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.
