Transfer Relationship Manager
About the role
The Transfer Relationship Manager is a highly skilled professional that provides customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. This role will be responsible for developing relationships to build a pipeline with state colleges to recruit transfer students and manage email queues. Additionally, they will assist in conducting dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application requirements and processes. The position will report to the Admissions Team Administrator, Transfer Relationship Management.
Responsibilities
- Aid in developing a recruitment plan to implement and meet specific enrollment goals for transfer students.
- Manage an assigned recruitment territory by attending outreach activities in collaboration with state college representatives and community partners including occasional overnight travel.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of the on-boarding process and completion of success steps for prospective students.
- Provide back up support to the Customer Success Reps by managing the front desk as needed to handle walk-in customer support and provide customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process.
- Aid in email queues, provide occasional backup phone support to the call center, manage outreach to students to help with document collection and completion.
- Attend state colleges and transfer admissions events to build relationships with prospective students, applicants, counselors and parents. Provide admissions guidance through information sessions, presentations and meetings with students, families and counselors through in-person and group settings and act as a point of contact.
- Congratulate and coordinate and participate in outreach and access activities for the community and university partners as needed.
- Adhere to the office-wide travel policies and standard operation procedures.
- Analyze data to determine marketing effectiveness and impact on applicant and enrollment objectives for targeted populations. Develops and utilizes various reports and dashboards to aid in decision making and support the recruitment team. Compile and analyze statistical data for routine, periodic, and ad hoc reports. Prepare regular recruitment activity reports, statistical analyses, and enrollment projections.
- Build and maintain relationships with college counselors on behalf of USF. Collaborate with university faculty and staff, departments, and community partners to reach enrollment goals. Maintain effective communication and provide admissions guidance to students. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience -OR- equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
