About the role
As a Transactions Paralegal, you will support our corporate business by working with employees at all levels across all locations. Your contributions will directly impact the business by reviewing and preparing contracts that reflect the overall profitability of the company. The team is collaborative and values continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, filing, and follow-up on corporate contracts
- Coordinate and support contract review by internal and external counsel and internal subject matter experts
- Assist with due diligence on Mergers & Acquisition projects
- Assist with preparing and maintaining M&A documents and project organization and reporting
- Support general contractual and M&A-based projects
- Research, analysis, and application of applicable transactional laws
- Review invoices from outside counsel and other service providers
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the attorneys in the Transactions Group
- Identify opportunities to use technology and AI to facilitate contract and M&A work
- Work proactively to improve contract and legal billing processes
- Open, close, and manage files in matter management software
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Commitment to protecting confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Accounting or financial background (a plus)
