Transactional Liability/M&A Insurance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Managing workflow on deal opportunities that contemplate use of representations & warranties, tax or contingent liability insurance, including assisting in managing the underwriting process and negotiating confidentiality agreements, non-reliance letters, and other ancillary documentation
• Analyzing mergers and acquisitions-related documents, including reviewing financial statements, business background information and purchase agreements, and researching issues related to M&A transactions
• Preparing quotes and policy documents for insurance of M&A, tax and contingent liability transactions
• Collaboration with marketing team to develop materials and presentations
• Coodinating and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and clients

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required
• Experience with M&A, insurance sector, or other financial institutions or advisors preferred
• Self-starter
• Intellectual curiosity
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise software tools required

• Base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors
• The salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000
