Responsibilities
- Aid in drafting, organizing, and managing documents related to real estate transactions.
- Support public finance transactions by preparing and organizing various documents.
- Assemble and submit transcripts to the Texas Attorney General's Office.
- Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
- Enter timesheets, review prebills, and process billing revisions.
- Review vendor invoices and prepare check requests for payment.
- Maintain and organize transaction files and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, and appointments.
- Monitor and follow up on client and transaction-related activities.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, closings, training programs, and business development activities.
- Manage and organize hard-copy and electronic files within the Firm's document management system.
- Ensure proper storage, retrieval, and maintenance of legal records and transaction documents.
- Provide professional customer service to clients, vendors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Perform overflow assistance and additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal administrative support experience within a transactional practice.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred).
