About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney who wants to focus on high-level transactional HOA and condominium work without the constraints of a volume-driven practice. Attorneys are given direct responsibility, consistent client interaction, and exposure to complex development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on involvement with sophisticated real estate and community association transactions
  • Direct collaboration with developers, property owners, and internal deal teams
  • Supporting developers, owners, or associations through formation, turnover, or restructuring processes
  • Experience drafting and reviewing governing documents, including declarations, bylaws, and related association instruments
  • Familiarity with community association statutes and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in Maryland
  • 3+ years of transactional experience involving condominiums, homeowner associations, or real estate-related matters

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting developers, owners, or associations through formation, turnover, or restructuring processes
  • Familiarity with community association statutes and regulatory requirements
  • Experience drafting and reviewing governing documents, including declarations, bylaws, and related association instruments

Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of condominium and HOA law
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
