Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial and residential real estate purchase agreements.
- Prepare deeds, leases, financing documents and closing documentation.
- Collapse transactions with title companies and lenders.
- Handle Texas commercial and residential real estate matters from contract through closing.
- Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and transfer-on-death deeds.
- Afford probate and estate administration.
- Form business entities including LLCs and corporations.
- Draft operating agreements, bylaws and corporate governance documents.
- Review oil & gas leases, mineral deeds and related agreements as needed.
- Conduct client consultations and independently manage transactional matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active Texas Bar License
- 1-4 years of Texas transactional legal experience
