Transactional Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate commercial and residential real estate purchase agreements.
  • Prepare deeds, leases, financing documents and closing documentation.
  • Collapse transactions with title companies and lenders.
  • Handle Texas commercial and residential real estate matters from contract through closing.
  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and transfer-on-death deeds.
  • Afford probate and estate administration.
  • Form business entities including LLCs and corporations.
  • Draft operating agreements, bylaws and corporate governance documents.
  • Review oil & gas leases, mineral deeds and related agreements as needed.
  • Conduct client consultations and independently manage transactional matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Active Texas Bar License
  • 1-4 years of Texas transactional legal experience
