Transactional Associate Attorney

Summary An opportunity for a Transactional Associate Attorney to handle a variety of legal matters involving real estate, contracts, corporate governance, and community association law. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze governing documents, statutes, case law, contracts, insurance policies, and real estate documents.Draft contracts, legal opinion letters, governing documents, rules, easement agreements, and licenses.Conduct legal research and provide well-founded written and verbal legal opinions.Negotiate agreements and resolve legal matters.Advise clients and communicate regularly regarding legal matters and their status.Attend board and annual meetings, including occasional evening meetings.Participate in marketing initiatives, educational programs, and business development activities.Travel as required. Required Qualifications Active license to practice law in Colorado.Approximately 4-6 years of progressively responsible transactional and/or litigation experience.Experience in one or more of the following areas:Real estate lawNonprofit lawCorporate governanceContract review and draftingFair housingEmployment lawTortsStrong analytical, legal research, and drafting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong negotiation and client advisory abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and legal research software.Ability to multitask and accurately record billable time.Willingness to travel and attend occasional evening meetings. Preferred Qualifications Experience in HOA or community association law.Background in real estate transactions or commercial transactional law.Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, easements, and governing documents.Familiarity with case management and billing software.
