This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Legal & Accounting environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead the lifecycle of M&A tax engagements including due diligence and tax structuring
- Design tax-efficient structures for mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations
- Identify historical tax exposures and draft contract mitigation language
- Oversee post-close integration ensuring preservation of tax attributes
- Cultivate relationships with Private Equity firms, legal counsel, and executives to generate engagements
- Collaborate with partners to deliver comprehensive services to clients
- Recruit and mentor team members fostering a culture of excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
- Master's in Taxation (MST) or LLM in Taxation is preferred
- Active CPA license or JD required
- 15+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or M&A boutiques
- Minimum 10 years focused on M&A tax / Transaction Advisory Services

Pay
$150,000 – $200,000 annually
